Debunking Sex Myths

10:31 am Friday, 21st February, 2014

There’s a plethora of sexual-related information out there, some of it is scientifically proven facts, whereas a lot of it is total, utter poppycock! This mis-information has resulted in some sexual myths that are so widely circulated that many people believe them to be true. We’re gonna clear a few of these little promiscuous porkies up!

Men Want Sex More Than Women

Not true at all, there has been studies into these thought-based gender differences and the findings of both men and women weigh up almost evenly. That age-old ‘men think about sex every 7 seconds’ rumour is also very much incorrect. According to the numerous research done, the average male thinks about sex around once ever hour, the same amount of that he thinks about eating! Women’s sex drives also come close to males, perhaps not quite as much due to a man’s testosterone production, but there’s not as much difference in the two genders’ lust levels as people everywhere originally thought.

Size matters

The pressure that a male is put under to feel like he is adequately equipped to please a woman is excruciatingly tough with the likes of porn movies who star exceptionally endowed men and underwear ads where the model has been generously photoshopped a couple of extra inches to that bulge that’s fighting it’s way out of the Calvin Kleins he’s sporting. All this must make the average fella feel a bit insignificant, but a lesser appendaged man need not worry, the average vagina is four inches deep with the average penis being around five to six inches long, you do the math!

For A Healthy Relationship Have Sex Insert Number Times A Week

Wrongo, they say the average couple has sex three times a week, but why do you need to do it a certain number of times and compare yourselves to others to know that you’re a happy couple? Lots of people have it a couple of times a month but still enjoy a loving relationship, whereas others can do it three times a day and feel the same. It all depends on you as an individual couple rather than what anyone else says you need to do to be ‘normal’ or content.

These are only three of many sexual Chinese whispers circulating the web and are being taken as gospel, so take everything you hear with a pinch of salt and just enjoy your sex life!
