Sex For The First Time With A Partner

12:42 pm Monday, 11th November, 2013

If you’ve met someone and are wondering when’s the right time to go in for the kill, do the deed and still ensure that you keep any spark that you may share in tact, then take a read of this article specifically written for people in a situation like you not sure of what or rather when’s for the best.

First For Everything

This question applies to all aspects of a relationship for many people, when should we first kiss? When should we introduce the family? When should we first holiday together? Everyone wants to enjoy every new level and milestone in their relationship without feeling like they may jeopardise it. So when is the right time? Well, that answer depends on the couple.

Two In A Million

Like they say no two people are the same, no two couples are the same either and each relationship must be treated individually. There is however things to think about and ways of gauging when your own relationship may be ready for the next stage.

Know Your Limits

First things first, obviously both members should be prepared to engage into sexual relations and comfortable with the thought of it. Communication with one another is a must, you need to both identify what your boundaries are and make it clear. For example, one of you may be open to every sexual position there is whilst the other may only feel comfortable with missionary for the time being, so a mutual understanding of the limits is best.

Too Much Too Soon

Many people rush into sex prematurely when their relationship is still too young for it, whilst others can start almost straight away and be fine. It really does depend on the type of people that you are, but for most sex before getting to know a partner is a bit of an anti-climax and can leave people disappointed and bored with their relationship come the near future.

If you haven’t taken the plunge yet, consider whether or not you’re the type of person to get bored quickly or feel awkward following should you not be ready, and then of course, only do it if it feels like the time is right.
