The friend zone is the the dark, lonely corner of singledom someone is expelled to when the person they fancy the pants off doesn't reciprocate their feelings back and sees them as just a friend. Once you reach the friendzone, it's rather hard to get yourself back out of it and be viewed as a possible mate by the friendzoner.

Don't be a Clinger
