Fetish, lets define this word. A fetish is an act or object other than human genitals that brings about sexual arousal. The phrase ‘fetish’ is very vast in it’s meaning and can often be used to refer to an obsession with breasts or bums, commonplace attractions. Now and again however, it’s used to describe a hankering for something slightly more offbeat. Here’s a few examples.
Bizarre Fetish 1: Dendrophilia
This term literally means ‘love of trees’, and with this being a fetish article, yes that means there are people out there who like getting it on with a bit of wooden tail.
Not all dendrophiliacs like rubbing their privates on the birches in the local glen however, most simply appreciate the beauty of these magnificent plants. There is only the extreme minority though who would put that last sentence in a different context and a microscopic chance you’re going to find your neighbour lying next to a leather bikini clad conifer.
Bizarre Fetish 2: Formicophillia
Anyone with a phobia of anything more than four legs should look away, close their ears and this page off. This term refers to a form of zoophilia that involves pleasure induced by having insects crawling over and biting your body especially the genitals.
Bizarre Fetish 3: Spectrophilia
This is a strange one..a sexual attraction to ghosts or spirits. A general sex act a spectrophiliac can carry out is to knock one out against a mirror as they imagine or maybe even see a sexy supernatural in the reflection behind them. There has been many accounts throughout history and worldwide of sexual encounters with spirits and demons but no conclusive evidence to prove the events happened. Spooky.
Bizarre Fetish 4: Emetophilia
An emetophiliac can get their rocks off on either vomiting themselves or watching someone else. This attraction to puke is possibly more common than you may think with many sites dedicated to this fetish. So after you’ve drank the pubs in town out of their liqueur and are making your way home on just your hands and knees, there may very
well be someone watching who wants to run their fingers through your puke-soaked hair rather than boot you in a taxi home for a well needed shower.
