We have more for you from the 40-50 year old Sex and Relationship survey that we undertook in March 2013. Over two thousand members took part, and in this article we’re taking a look at how loud our members are in the bedroom.

As quiet as a mouse - Men: 8.71% Women: 2.2%
A few moans and groans - Men: 72.84% Women: 37.8%
The next door neighbors might hear me - Men: 17.35% Women: 52.22%
The whole street can hear me - Men: 1.10% Women: 7.78%
It seems the majority of men were the quietest during sex at 8.71% whilst there was a small number of women who also thought that they were also quiet as a mouse.
A few moans and groans came out fairly high: men at 72% and women at 38%, but the biggest percentage came from the ladies at 52%, themselves thinking that the neighbors might hear them. The men on the other hand didn’t score too high in the category at 17%, which is quite a blessing for their neighbors.
Not surprisingly the women were the loudest at 8% although that was a fairly low number in comparison to the rest. And another low score, only 1% of men thought that the whole street could hear them.
It turns out that being loud whilst doing the business might not be in your best interests, especially not if your neighbors can hear you. Should your neighbors complain about the amount of decibels that you’re making, in the UK you may well get issued an ASBO for disturbing the peace.
