With lowered incomes and the recession having affected many of us, going on plush dates can be unrealistic. When your on a budget, paying £100 for a meal at your local restaurant might not be a possibility. Despite this, it is still possible to have fun on a date by trying something different, and cheaper instead. So next time you arrange a date why not try one of our suggestions below, and see if you can spice your next date out, up.




Walking




Ever tried walking as a dating experience? On some level you will both have to like walking here however if your potential date is keen then why not try this as a date idea. Walking gives you a chance to talk better and improves communication so this date idea can only be a good thing.




Movie Night




Get a movie, throw a meal together, and gather around your TV. There is nothing more relaxing and fun than something to eat in and a great movie.




Bookstore




How about a book date? Why not try a date down at your local bookstore; if they do great coffee then this is a bonus. If your both book lovers then this is an ideal and relaxing way to share interests and connect.





Bars




Why not check out your local paper and events website for free bands and shows. Pubs and bars usually put on some great bands for free and this can add more excitement to your date than simply sitting in a bar. The only money you will have to spend is on the drinks, so be sure to pick a cheap pub!
