A Little Bit More About Me

3:09 pm Thursday, 21st November, 2019

Hi, there. I figured I'd say a bit more about myself. 🙂
As stated in my profile, I'm bisexual and married. I've been with the same person a long time, and that won't be changing. That said, I only came out as bisexual earlier this year (back in March). For reasons I can't explain, I just never found the opportunity to understand that side of me, much less explore it.
This has left me feeling a bit isolated, especially where I live. There aren't a lot of LGBT+ people here as far as I've seen, and if they're out there, they're well-hidden. Given some of the conservative attitudes in this area, this is understandable. (Note: I don't think being conservative is a bad thing; I just notice there seems to be a lack of tolerance and understanding, with a bit of outright bigotry thrown in on occasion).
My main intention in joining this site was in the hopes of finding others like me: bisexual (or even sexually fluid/bi-curious) women, maybe others with little to no experience, also like me, but sharing other interests outside of sexuality as well. A friend that I don't feel the need to hide my sexuality around, and if the possibility of something more (casual) is mutually agreed upon (my husband did ask me back when I came out if I needed to find someone to explore that side with; I'm not sure if the offer's still on the table, but if it is...), I'd be open to it, too. But that's only if the offer still stands and there's a mutual attraction.
Otherwise, I'm just trying to step out of my comfort zone a bit (I'm socially awkward, thanks to my anxiety) and derive a bit more enjoyment.
Other tidbits about me: I'm an author (one book out so far, many more in the works), a mother, an animal lover, an avid reader, a selective gamer, and enjoyer of many, varied things.
