As I waited in the hotel room waiting for the couple to arrive, my thoughts raised back thinking about how things have moved so fast.
Being a single male in my early 40s, I had not gotten any positive responses for over 6 months of the posting and all of a sudden the couple had responded asking for my number which I shared. A little more than a fortnight we had called and I had talked to both the husband and wife about a planned meeting in their city. They never asked for any personal attributes including photos, etc., and I was not sure whether it will actually take place at all. Even waiting for them in the hotel room, after their expected time of arrival, I had given up that the meeting would take place.
Eventually, I got the call from him saying that they were at the hotel lobby. I headed down from the hotel room and was met by a very pleasing couple. As I took them to the room, we introduced each other and talked some more in the room. Although he and I were talking in general, she was sitting and listening to me. After exchange pleasantries, he encouraged me to talk and move forward with her. Nervous as it was my first time with her (leave alone any woman before), I was not sure where things would go especially with him in the room.
Then when he got a call and stepped out attend it, she suggested we move to the bed! As butterflies filled my stomach, I quickly started to hug and kiss her . . .
