We are really pleased at the response to our party planned for the 12th, particularly as some of the responses seem to be from people with little experience of such events - we are grateful for their trust and look forward to rewarding it with a fun and relaxed event.
This morning we wrote the email below in response to a mail from one such couple, and are pleased to post it below as a guide to others thinking of attending.

Hello, and thanks for the offer to bring a bottle (and yourselves) to our home for the couples party - some pictures attached below.
The whole idea is to have fun, it’s not a commercial event you will be in our home and of course as guests, and we are sure that you will find everyone very friendly
As said in the site mails, we are very happy to chat this through on-line on the phone. For now format and therefore dress might change a little depending on numbers. High numbers, we will have a buffet and open bar, with people mingling in low light, ladies typically wearing nightmare (prob not M&S style lol - note to non-UK guests, M&S=unsexy), but beach wear or even towels works well too.
If numbers are lower we will start out with a dinner party format - initially casual wear with progressively less of it as the meal progresses
After that, mingling again with people tending to group up as desired before getting a room ....
We would be very pleased to offer you a room for the night if that helps, also to meet up for a chat in the next week to see how we can make you fully comfortable
