I am a terribly shy person and it takes an awful lot of courage for me to even type blogs and visit the chat rooms. I never say much because after the years of being brow beaten I have become quite introverted and almost insular which really makes it very difficult to strike up conversations and I feel terrible just jumping into someone elses because lets face it that is just ill mannered.
So after an age of dillying and dallying I tried to strike up conversation with a lady only to be ignored and finally rebuked with out even a sorry you're not my type etc etc.
Is politeness so difficult to come by these days or am I showing my age?
What ever it is it didn't leave me with a warm feeling. I think this looking for love is going to perhaps be a more difficult challenge than I first thought it would be.
Ah well back to the drawing board.

I feel for you for there are those whose manners are far from perfect - I have found the same thing. You do not say where you are, how to be contacted, so you are likely to stay imprisoned within yourself. There are others who would care so keep on trying.
