Why I Choose To Submit

As I have already stated in my previous post I have a “need to please” attitude and this along with my preference to follow rather than lead makes submitting the best option for me.

I’m sure there will be people out there who will find it hard to understand how someone could be willing to hand control to someone else, and possibly people who may think that I, and other submissives alike, must have in some way been forced into the position they are in. I can assure however that this was in no way the case. While Husband has been the person that has orchestrated the most progress in the relationship, it was in fact a suggestion of mine near the beginning of our relationship that planted the seed for where we are today.

I think the main reason that I choose to submit is that I love to feel needed and get real enjoyment from performing with the sole intention of pleasing someone else. I have also found over the years that having my limits pushed, extended and then pushed again is extremely exciting and pleasurable. As my submissive behaviour has increased I have found it more and more enjoyable and am grateful that I am with someone who is wise enough to know (quite often better than I know myself) when and how my limits can be stretched.

The submissive role can be a changeable one depending on the mood of your Master. You have to be willing to change your mood and activity based on the feelings/desires of your Master. I am happy to be Husband’s object, lover, slave, wife and anything else he may need me to be at the time.

In closing, I understand that I have not exactly come up with a clear and concise list of the reasons as to why I choose to submit and that instead this post has really just been the ramblings of a submissive. This is because, even though I know I love to submit to Husband (and do not see that ever changing), I find it hard to articulate the exact reasons, So to all you submissives out there who love to submit but can’t exactly explain why . . .
