Spell checking and time wasting

So I’ve had my first experience of time wasters. To be fair it took longer than I expected! 
And among the things that continue to amaze me about this site is the terrible spelling! I mean, we all make typos and I’d not claim to be the best SPaG expert, but really some of the writing on profiles is seriously bad! 
I have to say it’s a turn off - if a person can’t string a sentence together, I doubt they are going to make a great conversationalist.
