Advice for CDTV Newbies

11:34 pm Tuesday, 11th December, 2018

Hi, I seem to be getting asked quite a bit about how to get started. It's not difficult but I hope the following might help some newbies and look forward to anyone adding their comments.
If you are unsure of what drives you, e.g., you like to wear panties but not sure whether you like satin, lace, nylon, cotton, lycra-mix,or bikini or boy-cut or full-cut etc then my suggestion is that you buy a couple of pairs of each type of panty and work it out. Your cock and mind will tell you which it/is preferred. Colour might also be a factor so try and understand these things before you enter the shop as it will shorten your buying time (if you are worried about being seen)
Buy in suburbs where you might not be easily known. Or when out of town - then who cares who sees you buying lingerie - they'll forget you pretty quickly. Wear a hat/cap as people will remember that not your face
Pop into Farmers ( a store in NZ or Debenhams in the UK or David Jones/Target in Oz etc ) when they have their next lingerie sale and buy some panties (they have heaps of brands) and a bra (heaps of brands) and some stockings? If you don't know what bra size you might be then take a look at the David Jones website as they have a short video showing you how to measure correctly for a bra...the thing is, whatever size they say you should be e.g. a 16-A for example, buy a 16-B and a size larger like an 18-A so you can be sure that one of them will fit you ok.
Also on the knicker front, personally I love bikini size/shaped knickers (not the full cut or boy-short cut ones or thongs/g-strings – although I’m coming round to liking g-strings) and I generally buy a size larger than what is a tight fit. So although a size 14 knicker is a perfectly good everyday fit on me I tend to buy a size 16 so that my bits float around in them and they feel the material better and also when I get hard and I want to point the head of my cock into the gusset of the panties the panties will stretch out to take it. Each to their own but that's what works for me.If you're worried about what the shop assistant might think about you buying knickers, bras and stockings, (a) they really don't care, (b) it is rude of them to ask, and (c) if they do ask respond with a smile and tell them you drew the short straw and have to buy them for yourself and some mates to go to a Rocky Horror Party (and then laugh).I also buy up to 10 pairs of knickers at a time of different types so I won't be disappointed when I get home if I find that my cock actually doesn't like wearing any of them and I buy 2 bras at a time and maybe 6 pairs of stockings as they get laddered easilyDon't forget that lingerie can also mean negligees (very sexy) and slips and camisoles, and suspenders and teddies and babydolls and corsets etcFor wigs, $2 stores are good - and Pete's Emporium is excellent in Porirua but most countries have places to buy fancy dress clothing including fake wigs. Dresses can be bought through any opshop (again the rocky horror story works if asked) and you can buy heels and boots there too (but No.1 Shoe Warehouse and The Warehouse is also good). Finally, on the makeup front, buy quality if you can as it lasts and doesn't dry out if you don't get to dress regularly and have to store the makeup for a while in between use. Quality also washes off more easily. Be prepared, the last position you want to be in when trying on make up for the first time is to 'not have' anything to properly clean off all the evidence. I ran out of makeup removal wipes the first time I applied makeup and had to go to the store to buy more which was definitely character building stuff. Quality lipstick and foundation, eyelashes and eye shadow are musts. It also takes a lot of time to get fully dressed and made up if you want to go the whole way when you play so plan a couple of hours to set up, playtime and then at least an hour to clean up - so that's half a day at least, but that's just my experience and it is not unusual for me to use up a whole day (8 or more hours when I dress up fully with lots of playtime).A website called daretoflaunt.co.nz is excellent and I buy from that site and get things sent to a P O Box. They've never let me down. Great corsets and cheap at $39 - $50 each.I reckon a budget to get set up is around the $250 - $500 mark. But you don't need to spend it all at once and if you are like me you will spend a lot more so give up coffee and save it for lingerie .Hiding your lingerie. I know this is a worry for many of us. I have taken a small storage cube at a storage facility and keep only my everyday panties, bra, toys, and stockings at home to wear and play in...but when I go the whole thing I take it all out of my storage unit and play away from home in motels. Costs me around $40 /month for the storage unit so really not a big cost to be able to sleep at night and not worry about your things being found by accident. What have I forgotten?I hope this helps and enjoy yourselves...I know you will.Love Tessa
