Was at a coffee shop a few days ago (Tim Hortons, if your from Canada), having a quick bite to eat.
It was midnight, and there were only 2 other people in the place.. 2 girls.. friends talking to each other.
One of the girls and I kept catching ourselves looking at each other and we'd smile. She was a nice looking girl.. wearing sweats and had her hair in braids.
I finished my meal, and we happened to leave at the same time. She said goodbye to her friend, and walked to her car, which happened to be close to mine.
She walked up, and I said hello. She said hi back.. and I asked her how she got her hair braided so tight.. we had more small talk, then she asked what I was doing.
"I'm looking for dessert" I said. She asked what I felt like having.. so I said "I don't know.. something about your height.." She laughed... I laughed.. and she said "Anything else" and I went "well, what you have in your sweat pants is appealing to me"
That is when I expected to be slapped. She looked at me, grinned.. and asked how far away I lived. "Just 3 minutes away" I said "I can drive".
Laughing, she got in my car, and we went back to my place and she gave me what was in her sweat pants.
My question to you fellow members is this: Have you ever use a pickup line that you never thought would work, but it did?
