I've always been leery of profiles that imply or baldly state that they expect gifts or some kind of financial support as a precondition of a relationship. In what I have left of my mind, that changes the flavor of any possible relationship from an emotional one (what I am looking for) to a transactional one, inhibiting severely the possibility of a two way emotional connection. That inhibition of the emotional connection puts the whole experience into the same category as masturbation. And that I can do quite well on my own. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with with social interaction outside of the bedroom, since that is ultimately as important as what goes on behind those closed doors if one is looking for a relationship.
