RE: Simulation theory

this is a reply to Lipglosslady
if we are following the word definition of the word, then yes it is an imitation, but to what certain degree is this imitation and what does it test? which part is real or which part is just a simulation? what is the subject or the variable? what im talking about is the application of the word and which does it apply to

the mystery of the unknown does sound terrifying at first because humans have the instinct to fear which is not known so if the simulation theory is real then yes that grand designer might be much more of a cosmic horror than all our fictions combined. why they put us here in the first place will be one of the many mysteries as "us humans" will never know

futility, endeavors, experiences and whatnots may as well be the governing rulesets that was placed upon us and maybe one of the things being simulated. is there a condition to overcome these rulesets? what would be our reward after we overcome it? why does it work with others and not with us?

is the concept of the simulation theory old? yes it is! the 90s has chuckfull of movies like the matrix or even the 13th floor

but if we are just questioning reality, the shortest answer would always be "these are just signals being interpreted by your brain"

btw, i consider myself as the subject, the non-variable, inside the simulation and the examples i gave is only based on my observation which i believe BUT given the chance if i could be the designer, i dont care less what my subjects or my variables will think of me, they'd never understand it anyway 😉
