Goodness me ... some friends arrived unexpectedly yesterday evening at about 7.30. I was a very good hostess and made some delicious G&T's. If I had known I would have made some cheese and pineapple on sticks.
I did have some Olives stuffed with Lemon but forgot to offer them. And sadly I didn't have any Twiglets. Some hours later ... and too many G&T's later ... but it wasn't really a late night and I was in bed before midnight just.
I didn't do a great deal today, just the usual household daily chores and fed the birds in the garden, and the fish, and watered the plants. The nice thing was that my new summer dress and a new pair of white panties I had ordered were delivered. So that is nice ...
