Well more likely is that it’s not an overnight success and most of the offers are from scam rings trying to get you to sign up to fake sites to skim referral fees.
Dating like Entrepreneurship, is not for everyone. It’s a daunting task. You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You have to share thoughts and desires with strangers with no way of knowing before hand if you’ll meet with success.
So what can you do? Bottle up, hunker down try and precisely target a potential match for your service, you are the service in dating btw, and try an all out attack to win the prospective buyer? The odds are against it working.
Ok how about a shotgun approach, mass mailing the odds are better right? Nope, the lack of tailoring of the message works against you.
Well, if I can’t single out someone and I can just spam, what do I do?
Good question, no great answers except this. Put the effort in and see if you get a response. If not, move on. There’s no one perfect person, so don’t invest time on a slim chance. Move on. If you find you can’t, say these words out loud, Oh Well.
Oh Well they didn’t message me back. Oh Well, I think I came on too strong, Oh Well, this response is asking me for my email, phone etc, so it’s a scam. Oh well, this girl just wants sexting. You have permission to move on. Oh well, it could be worse. Keep going.
In business it’s the same, make a pitch, fail. Tweak a pitch, make a pitch, fail. Rinse and repeat until you win. New clients, new territories. Move on to new prospects. Forget the old and look ahead to the new. Constant reflection, iteration and sometimes a little persistence pays off. Sometimes, an old acquaintance will reconnect, becuase you didn’t pressure them.
And it’s not a race, enjoy the trip. Remember to laugh, joke, have a little fun.
So far, I seem to spend more time sending erotica via email and text then I do meeting but it’s all good, someone’s happy and it helps me to better understand what my potential partners may be looking for. I’m more likely to hookup on tinder than here but it’s cool too, this is just a new tool to connect with more people out there in the world.
So expect to fail, so fail often, fail cheap and fail fast and then move on.
