So I have gone through what seems like a few hundred profiles, and sent off an introduction message...trying to actually respond to the person and not just do some cut and paste “you look nice” message. But as with in real life this is the place where I often get stuck... the lack of immediate response can be discouraging and the lack of any response even more so.
So have to be patient and try to remain myself and be optimistic that if people are out there who are up for a chat or a meet up.
