Ever wondered why some people swing and lots don't? I have been on several websites for random sexual encounters and been to a few club nights and unless it is all the same people in all the same places then there is no shortage or adults who, think that there is no problem separating love and sex, and can stay happy with the person they love while both have sex with other people with full knowledge and consent, yet vast numbers think that infidelity is the worst crime imaginable.
So, what makes us all think the way we do? Where we born this way (wouldn't you just love to shag GaGa), or have we learned it? Or have we got a hugely repressed society that wants to be writhing in an ogre of naked bodies but think they must be perverse and then hate it in others that they catch trying to get away with it?
Well, not surprisingly, I have an opinion, which is part social and part biological. I don't think it's any great shock that there are many more single men on sites line this than women. If you look at the majority of photos on here, a lot of people hide their faces, me included, which only suggests how much we consider this to be a social taboo, regardless of how much w want it, so for anyone to be in here they have to have decided the benefits outweigh the risks. But biologist suggest that in the wild, males are driven to inseminate as many females as possible so th they increase the chance of their genes being succesfully passed on, females however are more committed to their offspring once pregnant and so their drive is not only to stay with their male but to keep that mae solely with them to provide food etc for the young. Think yourself evolved if you line but we are not far removed from that! Anyway, for a man to be on here he just needs to break the social taboo, but for a woman, it's society and biological instinct. Hence the quantity differences. .....Maybe?.....Discuss!
