46 yrs old and over the yrs I've had enough accidents. I've put myself in a coma before the age of 10, by 14 I was doing somersaults on my bike after the wheel fell off. Between 16 and 20 I was hit by a car (my fault) and involved in 2 car crashes (passenger both times). So after all this I THOUGHT I could handle my pain..hahahaha. Jan 11th 2017 I got to find my new pain levels. Now I'm not sure if it was technically self inflicted pain but 4 days after surgery you have to remove the dressing. Soak it in bath or shower they said and it will come off. 30 mins I tried and not only would it not come off it wouldn't even pull apart in layers. I swear they glued it on but I had no choice, so I started pulling it off the scar.... and never have i felt pain like this before. The head rush was just WOW. what used to be my level 10 just got demoted to about a 6 this was my new level 10! On the up side, well am still alive lol and my knowledge of what level of pain I can withstand has lead on to other things..
