Explain to her that this is something that interests you and you would like to try out. Explain that it's not because you want to have sex with other women, but because you want to improve your sex life for you two as a couple. Assure her she is not undervalued and that you find sex with her fantastic. You are just seeking to maximize the experience.
What you should not do, is your little plan that you mentioned, where you invite over a friend and then try to make her horny and use her hormones as a way to get her agree to something she has made clear she doesn't want to partake in. This is manipulative and it could leave her with feelings of regret after the fact. Once more, it could (and should) make her lose trust in you and might be a very effective way to end or at the very least, strain, your marriage. You're proposing putting her in a situation where she is likely to make decisions she wouldn't normally make and that could potentially turn into regrets, once her horniness passes. Remember the whole thing about consent, is that it's best when its given enthusiastically and not just when put under the right circumstances to lower her boundaries. At the very least, it's unethical behavior. You'd do best to respect her wishes. I understand this is something you want. What that other couple wants is irrelevant to your relationship with your wife. You're more focused on you, than you are on her. Have you even tried asking her the reason she doesn't want to try this or have you been too bus****o?
Start by figuring out what her objections are
Assure her that she is valued
Respect her decision whatever it may be
If you're that unhappy ask for an open relationship so you can have sex with other people, or get a divorce.
