Well, here goes. Joining the site happened as a late-night spur-of-the-moment thing.
A bit of background; have just been on a trip to Thailand where a friend was getting married. Nearly all the other friends there were in couples. That, and the exposure to "possibilities" stirred up a lot of feelings I had been repressing.
Not sure I am ready life-wise to think of a long-term conventional relationship, I have a lot of stuff to sort out, but I decided I needed to be open to it. Also decided that sex was too good to be neglecting, and that I should try to find someone interested in the same things I am. My last relationship was not a good match on that front. We were not well matched in interests or sexual proclivities, and although the sex was good at first (at least for her) it fell by the wayside as the rest of the relationship deteriorated.
So, I decided that**** with emotional content and be open to friendships or relationships t****a****ppen as well. How realistic is this? We shall see...
