New trend "Achcharu"

I remember well, when I was a kid we were all the time after "Weralu Achahcru". The hot and savour  salty mix of Weralu (Ceylon Olive). The fruit, weralu was used raw or sometimes boiled, for the mix. 


Twenty years later the Achcharu has become the new fad, mostly in urban settings. Be at BIMCH, SLCC, Diyatha Uyana, Arpico or K-Zone you have achcharu joints now. Not only Weralu, the achcharu mix can combine upto seven or eight fruits. Mango, Ambaralla, Weralu, Pineapple, Woodapple, Guava, Jambu, Starfruit - You name it, they mix it. Quite remarkable evolution of Achcharu, keeping in line with evolution of sex.
