It would appear that in this modern world and way of living there are a number of people that do not have a modicum of common courtesy.
I always take the time to respond to messages, even if it is to say 'Thanks, but no thanks'.
As a number of people have said over the years it doesn't cost you anything apart from a moment of your time.
