I so agree with you. Had a member post that couldn't I read as not interested in single males. I hadn't sent the message, nor had it got the 'introduction' symbol by it. No doubt one of the sites 'exciting' new features! By the way, having read your profile, I wouldn't normally contact you, but as writing this, I wish I was not a single male lol.

It's normal .the site sends out messages for its members automatically. There is a setting for this. .iv had messages from you in fact .lol .

i agree, and get exactly the same.. they aint been on line for weeksmonths, and when my subscription ends, i get about 10 'messages a day'!    also when i look, there often are not looking for a single guy, and often in londonother end of the country,  and 100s of miles away, and im quite sure they would not be looking fo some one at the other end of the country!      time for the hub to stop this shit... 

Yep, virtually every message and most likes are from someone that hasn't been on the site for over a month. 

If I hadn't actually met people at a social a couple of years ago I'd strongly suspect that I was the only real person on here. 

So many automated messages just means that nobody really bothers reading the real ones and it makes things worse for ever

If activated on your account(it is by default) the site will automatically send you messages(and vice-versa) from matched members. It can do this even if they are not online.

Renewal messages are just auto-marketing - you can pretty much ignore them. Check your account before renewing to see if you actually have messages. Usually you will have promo-messages, they are auto generated by the site, and not actually sent by the member. The concept is sound, but as a single male you rarely get a reply if you answer them, as a couple you may well have more luck.

People are saying they are auto generated to our matches. That's rubbish as we get auto messages from singles and others that aren't a match. It doesn't keep my interest I find 8t annoying that I get messages from people on the other side of the Roald for goodness sake. And what about the messages that are waiting for me which mysteriously disappear when I pay my subscription. Some people replying you my blog are obviously on the payroll

Easily one of the worst features of this site and a relatively new - er - feature. as you will see I am a site advisor and virtually every one of us complained, but to little avail.  The only solution is to go to your settings and trawl through till you find the check box that allows you to not get introductory messages.  That will help. 
I used to get loads till I actually managed to switch it off.  It got really daft when I was getting "We are local to you" from folks only looking for ladies and living on the South Coast (I am in Cumbria).
So have a go and see how you get on.

yeah I get the same thing, I've been on the site for just about a week but I'm getting messages from people who haven't been online for months, haha I think the site uses Robots to keep people interested.

Have had exactly the same happen to me, I have replied to messages only to receive a reply back informing me the member has never contacted me in the first place. Don't think there are many genuine people on site as very seldom receive any replies to my messages but receive an abundant amount of messages stating interest in me but again no response to  my replies. Seems messages are being sent out purely to ensure you are kept interested and maintain subscribed membership. Think I might just give it up as a bad job!

Absolutely agree. Think it's full of made up profiles as well.

Great post.. it's been annoying me for ages, but I just never reply to them, they always come in blocks so you know they are automatically sent. Although I will say that I've met couples and single ladies on here, and found the site to be very good actually. So you take the good with the bad. Don't give up on the site, just create and interesting profile and see where that gets you. Stay safe everyone and happy new year xx. 

have not been on long, and am smart enough to know this site is worthless.  tried to report a scam after I spoke on the phone and found out they were not in FL but ohio, which is lieing, and they would not post it. I want admin that cares about keeping the site right and I will be gone very soon.  total garbage.

I also feel this site is a waste of time.

My problem too, but my bigger issue is that I'm on an island and there's such a limited community here. No one seem so to want to play!  Oh, well. Patience is a virtue, right?

Exactly the same here. 80% of the profiles on here are dead. Bots sending out messages on other peoples behalf. 😡

Maybe we should all go to settings, advanced and turn off the system that sends automated messages and go back to making introductions on our own. At least that way we can be in touch with people who want to be talked to!

I think the fact that virtually every reply to this post is from a single male says a lot. 

As long as the site owners are raking it in, guess what, nothing will change. But they miss the point, a real site without all this manufactured crap would go a long long way. But this IS A GAME OF NUMBERS. And they are literally collection cash like there's no tomorrow. They dont give a damn and WILL NOT STOP !
