Time wasters , whats's the bloody point in arranging something and then not turning up ?

How many have had time wasting experience ? I don't understand the point in wasting peoples time with meetings , giving it all the talk ,allowing you to drive hours sometimes only not to turn up .. I don't understand the point of it ..
