Well, been a member for just over a month now. I have found many like minded people. Now all I have to do is go out and do it. Strange today, the IT Chief on the rig came to see me and gave me access to the senior Transocean (the people who own the rig) Network. I suspect he may be Bi or gay. Trouble is if you make a move and you are wrong. Well, do not even think about it. The even stranger thing is after all these years working on rigs I have never heard (not even a rumour) of any man on man activity perhaps because of the reason mentioned above. Sure, the few women we have on board are often being permanently reamed and on occasions I have been involved. But, like a village, it is very difficult to keep secrets in such a small closed community.
