My expectations when I joined this site were not high, having tried a few others and been disappointed, bored or annoyed at the crass attempts by the site operators to con me out of ever more money. What I never imagined was that I would find so many thoughtful, articulate and supportive people discussing ethical, philosophical and emotional issues in the blogs. I was at a pretty low point when I first joined, but the regular contributors to these blogs have made me laugh so much I spilled my tea, think deeply about what is really important in life and have more fun than I thought possible trying to guess a woman's name from the cast list of David Lean films. To all of you, thank you, and don't ever stop being "bat shit crazy", as one of my favourites so aptly observed.
