The rope work was complicated, and if wrongly set up, could result in injury. It was not an exercise to be approved by The Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate!!
For a start. The two women were to be suspended in mid air all through the event.
The only time they would be lowered to the floor was when their initial position of face to face ( or rather, mouth to mouth ) was changed to the 69 position.
The part that required complicated engineering was the 'revolving embrace' in both the first and second positions.
This was to be achieved by binding their bodies together in a coil of rope that ran the full length of their torsos.
This parcel was to be made rigid by the inclusion of a pair of padded boards.
Each subject would have a board strapped to her back which ran from her shoulders to
the top of her buttocks.
The first subject was laid face up across two trestles. The other subject would be laid face down, according to which of the two positions ( ie. face to face or 69) on top of her.
The coil from inch thick rope was then to be bound round the pair over the full length of the board.
So far, quite simple. But then the method of revolving them in mid air like a spit roasted oxen, was to be achieved by the ends of the rope running up through a series of large pulleys. Hence by the slackening and tightening of the rope ends would cause the parcel of flesh to revolve.
The gig was for 2pm. The test run needed to start about 8am. to ensure all would go well.
Shirley was to assist Zelda, and with some hired help was to be the guinea pig to test run the equipment.
After her ritual abuse at her Master's penthouse, the previous night, needless to say, Shirley was feeling a bit over shagged.
With about four hours sleep the only way she was going to get through this was to drop some speed.
She showered and dressed and called a taxi.
She would grab coffee and toast at Zelda's.
