Puzzled by Cyprus - lack of response

I've been on this site for six months now. I'm a single fit male, educated, respectful, articulate, intent on sharing nice sexual moments with others.

I've written hundreds of messages to members in cyprus. Five or six replied. I thought it was going to get somewhere, we exchanged a few emails, then nothing. They disappear without explanation. And not, i hasten to add, because I've suddenly come up with outrageous things or wants.

Another thing is my mailbox is swamped with automated messages from users. I reply as a human, and nothing.

Which makes me wonder. Are most profiles fake? Do people get cold feet as soon as it gets 'serious' (i-e there's talk of actually going through with meeting up and having bedroom fun)? Am I scary?

I know Cypriots aren t very good at emails, but i've also contacted lots of expats, and the result is the same. It is starting to feel as if i would have more success chatting up a Roman nun than trying to find sexual partners on a supposedly dedicated 'hot' site.

I'm not looking for the moon, just for good, fun sex with likeminded people. For goodness sake, it's only sex we're talking about, not a business venture.

Feel free to let me know if I miss something very obvious.
