Being single and horny

There are certain times where I feel a little bit... frisky. Naturally, I'm a man and as a man.. I have certain needs. It's a natural way of things. Too much or too little of it is unhealthy... or a sign of health issues. I don't have to be hypocritical about it. It's just hormones and I have a healthy level of it. I either suppress it or satisfy my cravings. Both choices have consequences unfortunately.

Suppressing urges can sometimes be tantamount to torture, especially when hormones are in over drive. Mental or physical, sometimes it's unbearable. If healthy distractions can't help (sports, exercise, hobbies, work, etc), people usually fall for unhealthy practices. Most turn to over eating and alcoholism. I don't want that and I'm a little bit vain. I get a little cranky. That's my cue to get laid. Other people suffer for my foul mood and that's not good for my sociable personality.

Feeding my cravings, now that's a little bit tricky. I'm single and I live alone. I am very protective of my independence. Although I have been dating out a lot since I hit puberty, I currently don't have a wife or a girlfriend who I can depend regularly for that purpose. I find using money to get laid hurts my ego... I feel ugly and unwanted every time I do that. Aside from that, it's the most unsatisfying and empty experience I can get from something like this. I'm not one to promise a relationship just to get that either. It's like paying money, only the currency is another thing. I don't want a relationship based on that... but that's a different topic all together. I do have experience with friendship based on that though. It's the best way to satisfy both your urges without anything turning weird for the both of you. Unfortunately, it's hard to find someone who is on the same page... let the alone the same book as you.
