So my final return to South Wales is getting closer and closer (May). I wasn´t sure
how well I would get on within the Portuguese health service with regard to my transition. They tend to be a bit old school and my main pyschologist isn´t comfortable conversing in English (why should she), but my portuguese isn´t that good either. So my transition is all about sharing. Four people talking about my personal life when I talk with the pyschologist. There were five people talking about my Laser hair removal treatment in the local salon So my lesson here is one of humility.
I´ve had to hold off on my estrogen and anit-andogens for this last month as the endrocronologist wants to get blood work done without these additional hormones. So as per normal I got a blinding headache 4 days after stopping. However, things have settled down now. Can´t wait until the 9th March the day after the blood work to return to taking my pills.
So when I return, I will be living in my old house in Chepstow South Wales which is currently up for sale. I can´t wait until I get fully into the female living mode. In some respect when the house in Chepstow is sold I will miss having such easy access into Bristol. Not sure where I am going after the house sells. But this could be one big new adventure.
I am very interested in sharing my new life with someone, especially another TS on the pathway like me. We all tend to live such isolated lives it would be such a breath of fresh air to be with someone who understands. I seem to spend my life explaining myself to proffesionals, friends and relatives. It would be great just to live it instead.
Anyway, let me know if you have any ideas as to how I should move forward. If you have possitive feedback on your transition process it would be great to hear from you.
