Is fantasy enough for desire

8:52 am Wednesday, 4th November, 2015

In the fantasy the other person or persons can read your mind, as in the film 'what women want' starring Mel Gibson. Of course reality is different, even when you have known your partner in the bedroom for some time, they may still not know what really pushes your button. Is it there fault that you do not communicate the deepest hunger, probably not. After all they are probably in the same boat.
Occasionally with good fortune you may meet another whom you can be Incredibly open with. Good for you. Good for me too, though following our meet the relationship ended.
I was chasing a fantasy and in the fantasy we were both sluts. I mean to say that we would be acting out sexual desire for the sake of the experience of new sex. The fantasy meet was not the cementing of love or anything else. Saying "I would love to do that for you", Should never be translated as 'I love you and I'm going to show you by doing that'
Alas She, was expecting something completely different from what we had communicated over a prolonged period before we met. In this instance fantasy should have been enough. We hadn't been as open as we thought.

I've been in relationships where talking about sex was almost taboo. Sure, we could discuss the lack of it (why wasn't I interested???) but it was, all of course, my fault for not being interested, never his for not wanting to hear what I wanted. Was I shy and unconfident in telling him what I truly fantasized about? yes. Did he make it easy or even permissible for me to have fantasies, much less act the out? No.

Never again.

Today, I'd not dream of being involved, either LTR or casually, with anyone who wasn't open to open talk about anything and everything.

Some fantasies delve into the uncomfortable realm of "omg, you think about that? I'd never do that!" but simply thinking about doing x, y, or z doesn't mean they must be reaility.

But finding someone open enough to hear them is essential, I think.
