What is it about music festivals that make people leave their common sense at the gate?
Last week I was at Leeds festival having a great time watching some great bands and making new friends. Towards the end of the evening on Sunday I was asked for a dance by a young girl, fine we are all having fun enjoying the music. But what came after was a bit ott. I will start by saying she was falling down drunk so I was a little on my guard in case she hurt herself, but it was when she grabbed me by the crotch and started pulling me behind the stalls, that was when my common sense kicked in. Don't get me wrong she was a very attractive girl in her early twenties and had she been sober then yes please get out the way, but because she was so drunk in my mind it would have been rape and that is not something I want on my conscience!
A very small part of me is still saying that I'm an idiot (and some of you may agree, the security people I was chatting with thought so,) for passing up a sure thing but overall I am glad I did because otherwise I would have spent the rest of my life feeling guilty! Sex should be between 2 (or more) consenting adults and she was just too drunk to know where the floor was let alone consenting to sex
