Do swingers pass the smell test? (part 2)

You can take your socks off

Sexual satisfaction goes hand-in-hand with using all your senses – sight, smell, sound, touch and taste to gain the maximum pleasure. A few basic examples would be enhancing the atmosphere with candles, burning incense, running silk over your partners back or enjoying oysters and champagne as your preferred aphrodisiac.

what happens if something irritates your senses i.e. you are allergic to oysters, sneeze from the incense or itch from the silk. Your evening will transform from a night of pleasure into maximum disaster in matter of seconds.

Swingers in particular have mastered the art of heightening sensation and they are super sensitive when it comes to smell, sight, taste, sound and touch. One of the techniques that swingers use is called sensory input restriction where you only focus on a specific sense by restricting another one.

Blindfolding is a popular activity that takes away your sight and forces you to focus on touch and sound. Just imagine having no sense of sight while having sex. You will automatically develop a sense of anticipation, not knowing when your partner is going to touch you and this will only add to the thrill.

Getting in the right mood at a swingers party can really be difficult if the smell of stale socks or bad body odor keeps distracting you. The best advice that new swingers, also called newbies, can follow is to first take care of their personal hygiene. There are a few essential items that you need to take with you to a swinging event. These are body wipes, Kleenex, a small towel, deodorant, mouth wash and a clean set of underwear. Just simple things that will guarantee that you will literally and figuratively pass the smell test.
