Always have been and forever will be a DMB fan. Besides the very senusal Crash into Me, I absolutely adore this song. The transcendence to "the one that got away" concept is subliminal yet potent. Like a sharp twist of a knife to the most tender wound within, it stirs sensations you thought you've long buried in the recess of your soul. Ahh the tragic and melancholy love you once had. You then start to wonder if it can really happen again or it's just wishful thinking on your end.
The mechanical motions of an auto-pilot existence becomes too much to bear. One wants what one can't have. The irony of what a single song can do to your safe and simple existence. From apathetic to emphatic. The world still revolves and you'll still rock and roll. Happy weekend y'all. :)
