Whilst on here i have filled out my profile and chosen what im into (Well what i think im into lol) but one thing that has always had a fascination to me is Burlesque.
It all started with Dita Von Teese a stunning woman who as most will know is into the scene in a massive way. Now as much as i live Von Teese i looked into this some more via images on a google search and found women of all shapes and sizes who follow the scene.
The one thing apparent was that no matter what size, shape, short or tall women who follow Burlesque put all their efforts into the look. Basque stockings heels, hair and makeup. Now is it me that since the 40's or even earlier women have lost the thing that sets them apart (sexuality).
Now im not saying that women outside of Burlesque are not sexy many are however i do believe that burlesque put the sex in sexuality.
Now call me old fashioned but id rather have a female in front of me dressed to seduce than in the nude, i believe it adds an air of mystery to a woman. My angle is that sex has become a little basic and plain almost adam and eve stuff, I guess that,s why we are here on this site pmsl
I dont know what im trying to say really or if what i have written makes sense but the punch line is..........
Women who dress to seduce a guy are always going to turn my head.

I must admit there is something very alluring about a good-looking woman who enjoys taking time to make herself a visual treat for the man she is dating. I don't think it necessarily has to be the Burlesque look - perhaps more "horses for courses". Some women simply do not suit that particular look, and if they attempted it they'd look a bit daft. |

Miss Goodnight i totally agree and maybe my blog was maybe written in the wrong context, however you hit the nail on the head and i agree with what you say, for me i appreciate more a woman that takes time in her appearance, however a woman does have more scope to be sexy than a guy but its all part of the game in my opinion. its just sad that these days many women look like guys in the way they dress and that glamorous heyday of the sexy icons is not as prevalent as it once was |

D44: I would go one stage further and say that many women have lost the art of allure not only in terms of how they dress, but also how they act. I think that in the quest for total sex equality, something is being degraded and lost, and that "something" is "vive la difference". My own personal taste - old fashioned as it may be - is for "feminine" women. If they are covered in horrendous tats, wear shell suits and enjoy ending up legless after 8 pints of Stella, to me that's not very feminine :-) However (disclaimer !!!) this is purely my own view. |
