Of course it's difficult for a non-amputee to appreciate what it must be like, but as far as I've been able to gather, there are certainly no sexual constraints attached (look at Heather Mills :-) In fact I believe some people have a sort of fetish about it.

Certainly if a woman was otherwise attractive, her being an amputee would not put me off at all.

Pinky: I understand exactly where you are coming from as i have a male friend who is in a similar position to you. I will say that if him and i were not in the "friends zone" it wouldn't put me off.

I'm guessing it's similar to other personal characteristics. Some people will be attracted to you others won't.
This is a very complex business and it goes beyond physical attraction (for me anyhow).

HI mum lost both her legs but she still was the same lady after her loss so yes be your self and if people can not see past your lost of your leg its them who should be ashame not you its whats inside not the outside and looks good luck and have fun

i would like to thank all for commenting on my blog and the compliments on my pics too, pls perv away ladies..........im not shy about my false leg at all,having the op was the best decision i made. you are right too that it doesnt stop me doing what i want,i will say tho when i take the leg off when in town and resting up it does make a great bottle holder lol.......i lost my thru having a foot infection and being diabetic made it worse....oh well im still smiling and enjoying life, andlike you ladies im a perv too lol.....thx again for everyone....

the reaon i brought this subject up is cos i have had probs with others over having a false leg....their loss.....i had one i had tolaugh at tho was she was scared and freaked out seeing me without my leg off....my reply was, imagine the smile on yr face if you put yr hand under the covers and stroked my stump instead lol....i will always get on with things and never let anyone get me down....there is another subject i will bring up soon to do with another problem with diabetes and how others react, so watch this space peeps

before o had my belowtheknee op, they had to take 2 toes off a few months before,it was great being awake and watching the op being done and my toe taken off

macbloke....it was cool to watch tho...i would of watched em do the leg op but they wouldnt let me....maybe im a bit strange, oh well thats me lol
