The term "like-minded people" makes me laugh. And no where in the world is it more overused than by those of us in the lifestyle. I will admit, my wife and I have certainly not been doing this long enough to deem ourselves experts on the subject, but in our opinion, if there is one thing that swingers are not, it is like-minded. And frankly, that is the beauty of the lifestyle. The common thing many of us share is that most of us have embraced our inner pervert. But other than that, we are all here for different reasons and are at different stages of our lives and our respective relationships. Sexually speaking, Many of us are into different things, even as couples. Some of us search out specific people, specific fantasies or specific scenarios while others are simply here to see where each night goes, but would prefer to keep pace with a fun group rather than to lead.
To me, the idea of hanging out with like-minded people is boring. It is like going away on an island vacation only to find out that 80% of the tourists there are from your home country.
