Random Thoughts: Beauty Inside and Out

Beauty comes from within, cliche as it is, but hey, come on, I am sure most of you will agree. Just as beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, we all have different perceptions of the true essence of beauty.

I love watching beauty pageants. I am very proud that the reigning Ms. World 2013 and the newly proclaimed Ms. International 2013 are both beautiful women from the Philippines. They are but the living proof that not only are they beautiful on the outside; they are equally beautiful on the inside. They have a brilliant mind and an optimistic perception of how we can all make this world a beautiful place to live in.

I remember how some neighbors would laugh at a seemingly odd couple: the wife was plain and ordinary but the husband is a true-blooded handsome hunk, rich and famous. I must confess I felt "jealous" each time I witness how the husband looked at his wife, as if she were the most fragile and precious gem he must handle with care. I realized that she must have what they call the X Factor unique to her but enough reason for her husband not to look elsewhere. She is loving, faithful, and pure. What a beautiful love they have.

I was the typical girl-next-door that other children love to play with. I had my share of bruises from rough games and I used to go home with dirty hands and feet after a whole day of playing. And yet the following day my friends and I would be out in the streets and play again. That was a beautiful young life I had.

Now, I have grown to be a woman of the world. I have had my share of life's ups and downs and experience has taught me valuable lessons. Past relationships and people I've met molded me into the person I am now. I am not extremely beautiful physically, I have bulges here and there, but let me tell you that I once-upon-a-time had a 23-inch waistline, and firm butt to die for (thankfully, it has remained to be such as ASS-et). My waistline may have more than doubled, but my personality has improved a lot. Most people say I have a beautiful face, eyes that speak, and lips that promise passionate kisses. I've learned my ways in the bedroom, and have maintained an interesting sex life.

It is a beautiful life. The good thing is, it's not just all about the the body pleasures, but the pleasure of making a positive difference in the lives of people I have crossed paths with. Some say I have become an inspiration, others perceive me as a challenge, but I am what I am and I am who I am and I am proud of the beautiful person I have become. Thank you, friends! I'm glad your lives touched mine! :-)
