*SIGH*...So I had a health scare a couple weeks ago. Blood pressure through the roof, dizzy, couldn't stand, difficulty walking & lost track of what I was saying mid-sentence. STUBBORNLY I went to the ER to get a once over where they did a CT scan to rule out a stroke. I suppose the good news is they didn't see any signs of one but they did find a "white mass" on my brain. The doc said it was either a tumor or the beginning of MS.
It's a tumor.
I'm hard pressed to say which one is worse. On the one hand, if the chemo and radiation don't kill it I have a short life of agony to look forward to. On the other, if it WAS MS then I'd have had a longer life with gradual debilitation my final reward.
I'm trying to stay positive about this. The Neuro said it's been caught early and it's 80/20 I'll come out the other side healthy. Skinny and bald no doubt, but healthy. But a positive mental doesn't mean I'm not scared out of my wits over this.
And to think I got sober 28 years ago for this.
