I think we had a similar theme a few weeks back. The general consensus then seemed to be that something cheap, popular and rhythmical was the best adjunct to sex, whereas classical music required too much concentration and therefore tended to put people off their stroke :-)

I think I'm a bit like you, Fetch. I prefer silence on the whole because all the squelching noises and moaning are a real turn-on and it seems a shame to drown them out with BGM. I *do* have time for certain types of music, though: Roxy's "Avalon" is a track that comes to mind, some bits of Floyd's "Dark side of the moon", and some of Enya's stuff I find very sensual.

Similarly to "Bolero", Richard Strauss's waltz from Der Rosenkavalier was by his own admission an ode to sex :-)

Am afraid I am not as musically educated as a lot of you, or maybe just tone def, but just can't seem to appreciate classical music...
Though I do have a homemade cd, that usually plays on lowish volume during a meet... afraid it's not very imaginative, but songs that I find sexy...
