So I'm popping my cherry tomorrow.
The idea was to whisk the lovely lady away, exploring long empty country lanes, with the roof down, the wind in our hair. One of those magical days without a care in the world, not really knowing where we'll end up.
Perhaps a walk in the woods, kicking the autumn leaves up, flashing rich golden hues against the clear blue skies. Or maybe sitting on a bench on a quaint wolds village green throwing bread to the ducks. Or if she likes a thrill we'll see how fast we can get up Sutton Bank. Then perhaps a nice long lunch in a lovely rural pub followed by a stroll along the river.
That was last week. It would have been perfect.
Tomorrow is forecast for heavy rain and flooding. We'll be popping my sitting-in-the-car-waiting-for-the-flood-to-clear-while-sipping-cold-coffee-from-a-flask-cherry
