She whom i serve sometimes tells me i am allowed to disobey Her most fundamental laws. i know She is setting a trap for me, for i have been to trained to understand that what She allows, She also commands. Both are expressions of Her will, and when She says i may, She also says i must. i deserve the chastisement which ensues, and adore Her for entrapping me.
She enjoys interrogating my about my desires and my longings. Perhaps She asks me if i would like to worship Her feet. Since i must always be honest, and because i adore serving Her in that way, i say yes. i am chastised for not knowing that such service is not what She desires at that particular time.
She asks me again, and since saying yes displeased Her, i say no. i am chastised because either i am being dishonest now, or was dishonest previously. She may ask again, and order me to say yes. i may be chastised this time for thinking it matters to Her what
She asks yet again, so i say i don't know. At that particular moment, however, i am only allowed to answer questions with a yes or a no. i welcome my chastisement and adore Her for it.
She may ask again, and order me to say yes, and then chastise me again for thinking it matters to Her what i want. The wheel keeps turning, and i adore Her for it.
i have been trained to address Her as Mistress when i am allowed speak; the rules regarding that are rather fluid, and in any case, i have also been trained to address Her as Goddess, when that better suits Her mood. Or Empress. Or Princess. Or My Lady. Or Mea Domina. Or any other respectful title which occurs to me. It is my duty to discern which She prefers. i am often chastised for choosing wrongly. i adore Her for it.
She has created the world in which i serve Her. Like the celestial world in which i serve Her, it has natural laws, but unlike the the celestial world, there are no constants in Her world. The speed of light is what She wishes it to be at any given moment, as is the weight of the electron, and the points of the compass, and so forth.
In Her world, She is all the forces of Nature rolled into One. She is a warm, sunny afternoon at one moment, a thunderous typhoon the next. i have been taken captive by the gravitational force She exudes, and i orbit Her inescapably. i adore Her for it.
