Love being a woman, it just took along time to accept myself

It took along time to get to the point of accepting who I was and that I wasn’t a freak.


That internal acceptance was fast tracked with a couple of awesome Trans / CD girlfriends and as if not more importantly the acceptance by the CIS girls and making cis girlfriends and best friends.


That enlightenment some 10 years ago, and the development ensures that everyday I can walk out the door, with the ability to blend into life whether is shopping, bars, bands, the theatre, cinema, major racing events, sport, dates (with typically straight ish men) at quality restaraunts, wine bars or wineries where ever … its seamless.


I have many loyalty cards from small boutiques to major retailers and love lingerie & dress shopping.


Lining up for the toilet at the footy or cinema Im just one of the girls in the line…and I love it when another customer will say “she was before me” or just start chatting about what im wearing.


Life as a woman is what I always should have been doing … & yes it has its pitfalls but such is life.


I have just had to condense my puberty into am extremely short timeframe to ensure that I present properly for my body, age and skin … still learning but making the most of the time I have…..


Im so glad this generation will come into the world and not be confined by the ignorance of my generation.


To all Trans girls love yourself and be yourself… never be ashamed and never let anyone tell you your not pretty enough … you are you.
