I believe in the practice of polyamory (not polyandry as mistaken b4), and that true love should always be embraced and never thrown away just to match the misguided notions of society’s conventions.

Especially when modern concepts of monogamy have only been considered "standard normality" in the last hundred years. Before that, people had mistresses, concubines, lovers, random partners etc. Marriage was once an institution only for members of nobility to have legitimate heirs within, loveless and otherwise empty.

And these days, how many long term monogamous relationships have you heard of, seen, been a part of, where cheating -doesn't- happen? And if cheating doesn't happen, how long does it last before someone winds up leaving for someone else?

It's better to be who you are, and to be it with an open and honest heart, than to lie and hurt the ones you claim to love the most by fooling around behind their back. I've never believed in cheating and never will. I also don't believe in breaking up with someone just because you've started to fall in love with someone else.

Why throw away everything you've built together and start over with someone else when you can just build more onto what you already have instead?
