So here I was driving towards the airport to meet herher and send her to the bus station. Confidently using Waze and with ample time to spare.
Unknown to me and Waze, at some point the road became unpassable because of the heavy rains. According we were rerouted and the timing went out of the window!
I arrived late but thankfully so did her plane and clearance. It was great to see her after such a long time.
After a very intimate and heartfelt getting, in she hopped and away we went. She explained how crazy it was with bus schedules from the east coast and how she finally decided to fly. She planned to take a bus up north.
The conversation was simply wonderful and filled with anectodes of our times together and the drives we often took.
Then on a whim, I offered to drive her up. She was delighted.
