Sites such as this have been around for a decade and a half, and during that time I've noticed a "zeitgeist phenomenon" re. genital display. Circa 2000 these sites were still a novelty, and newcomers were boggled and beguiled by all the flesh available. For women it was a fascinating novelty to suddenly have all this man-flesh on display, with the added piquancy that - for all they knew - it didn't belong to some porn star, but perhaps even to the bloke next door :-)

Since then, the novelty has worn a bit thin, and in fact women now find themselves drowning in online phalluses, unsolicited or not :-) In fact I might even go further and say that many women are put off by explicitly sexual media - period. They would rather see a pic of tats, abs, or perhaps even MrCrisp's face :-) Sexual memes and fashions are forever changing. When I was back in UK in the summer, it was difficult to spot a bloke who didn't have a beard :-)

As MrCrisp observes, lady genitals can also be the villain of the piece, and in fact this was the subject of my last blog (q.v.)
However, like a lame joke whose impact depends on "the way you tell it", my own view is that it's the same for media showing genitals. I'm cursed with an aesthete's eye, and I'm not blind. As with faces, some genitals are definitely more photogenic than others, and some people are more adept with camera work. So I'm not going to universally discourage or condemn. After all, we're here as a means of sexually expressing ourselves.

I was firmly against cock shots as well and didn't really get it why guys would post them, but I was asked to post one on my profile and ever since I've posted that one cock pic I've had more messages from women and couples wanting to meet up.

My only problem with cock shots is when they look like something that comes out of a training manual for doctors to illustrate stds. Guys at least have a trim, a wash and take a decent pic

I am not a fan of cock shots and have refused to have them.

As a single male here I am under no illusions that my decision not to have cock shots or share them with others will severely limit my chances of meeting others.

My thought however is that even on this site, you must have boundaries and red lines.
