I will have to move to the Los Angeles area for an assignment sometime between next May and next August. I am looking for someone to connect with as a friend and possibly more (although that part isn't required). I would like to meet someone who is a mature soul. I generally get along with older women (although I'm not a respecter of age) because I've never been into things that are loud or that force me to dance. I don't drink and I don't smoke (nor do I do drugs) so I'm often not a good fit for single women who are into the dating scene. I don't think I'm boring at all-just different than most my age. I like to have long conversations and I don't mind if they're occur at the corner coffee shop or at a faraway beach. I do statistical research which takes me across the country. I have lived in many places, and I would love to discuss them with someone who can appreciate me. I am fairly slim-slender with longish legs and an average torso. I look really good in most things, and I'll make you look better if we go on a date, especially if I have to wear a suit. To be honest, my work makes me travel around the country for stints of a few months to a couple of years. Because of this, I don't think I'm looking for a long-term relationship right now. Also, my divorce was fairly recent, and I need to work on healing a bit more.
However, I enjoy the company of mature women who can talk about their experiences. This doesn't mean the woman has to be old, but be a bit of an "old soul," so to speak. But, because of this requirement, I've noticed I get along, on average, better with women over 40.
Although I would just love to say I want someone to just hang out with, that wouldn't be the entire truth. Since I often get into long, intimate conversations, the feelings I have for the person I'm with grow very deep and strong, and I would like the ability to act on those feelings if possible.
Since it will be a little while before I move to the area and I'm probably not what a lot of women on this site are looking for (then again, I don't really know, so...), I'm putting this in here early in hopes that you might take a chance to get to know me first through e-mail or chat.
